So..I know we just got a class plant (Audrey) but I have had the opportunity to get a small fish tank. I have cleaned it out and it's ready to go (I think) if the class would like to purchase a fish. I will buy food, etc., but I need help with the fish itself and remembering to feed it. The only fish I am opposed to is a betta. I don't want one of those. It could hold about 2-3 small fish. Or one larger fish (larger like a silver dollar). Whaddayathink?

ReplyDeleteI want a fish! I could go get it if you would like. Here's a website with a list of common freshwater tank fish. I like the gouramis and hatchetfish. And gold fish, but not the gross brain tumor ones.

i like fish. I have micky fish i think they are called and they reproduced a lot so maybe we can save money and get them! hahahaha
ReplyDeleteyea. i think that a fish would be a great idea for the class. i love them they are just so...so fishy lol. i would like the traditional gold fish because they are just so cadorable lol.

ReplyDeleteOkay well, I don't know what a hatchetfish is, but I'm cool with gouramis (just colorful ones not the white/pink ones). The rocks are blue, just FYI. The tank can probably hold about two gouramis and a suck fish. (what an unfortunate name-I wonder if they have a complex?) I don't know what cadorable means. Is that a portmanteau for cute and adorable? Is this real slang or desini slang? I dig the background. Dots are cool. I really dig the little swimming fish over there. I can add more, take some away, or change their colors if you would like.

ReplyDeleteOhhhh yyayyayayay I want a fish too! hey just to let you in on what I do in my spare time. i totally tried to mate bettas, I was sucessful until the stupid dad at all the eggs. What about tetras?
ReplyDeleteI'm cool with tetras too. This isn't a third block thing, but I don't have the equipment for a mammal. I was temporarily gifted the aquarium which made it financially a sound decision. The tank is already at school now (FRI) I just need to fill it up with water.

ReplyDeleteCome on, every little kid does that now. We should name our fish cool names. Also because I never uderstood why Marlin, as a clownfish, was named after a marlin. O_o
