so wat did i miss from class the pass two days? i kno every 1 missed me lol. so i am reading the book and so far it is becoming a bit easier but a little hazy in chapter 7. what do u think about jurgis (if i spelt it right) and ona's relationship? how do u feel about his response to the criple boy's death and about his drinking habits as well?

Jurgis is like a boss, trying to chase that paper to take care of the family. Ona's trying to get some, but she's a woman, so she's just not on that level. It's sad, the conditions that they have to go through, but Sinclair purposefully did that to make capitalism look very evil, so a lot of the deaths shouldn't make anyone feel bad....and Jurgis has appropriate drinking habits. He only drinks cause he pretty much has to. I think that Ona's a gold digger, but that's just me.
