Class Plant

Okay, so I dont know if you remember, but I said I would start growing a plant for the class. I started growing a few flowers. Like a wildflower mix, snapdragons, etc. Their not having the longevity that I would like them to have. So I was seeing if anyone had a specific plant that they would like me to grow that could be brought to school and kept alive that would have better longevity. I know of a few, but I want to see other classmates perspective. So whichever plant you want me to grow, just let me know. I was such a rhyme master right there, without even trying!

  1. Shannon, you are amazing when do you find all the time to do things like this. I <3 the idea of growing plants. Any type would be fine with me! Just do whatever your favorite type is!

  3. I thought African Violets were super finicky and you had to be careful how you watered them and they were picky about how much sunlight and temperature they got. i don't know though, since I have never successfully grown an A. violet, maybe I just assumed they were difficult instead of the alternative, which is to assume I have a black thumb. I think Pothos plants are pretty easy to grow. I have had success with them in the classroom before. We could take down Jurgis at some point and hang it once it got big. Just an idea, but I am down for whatever.

  5. Well, they are a little finicky, but my mom got this wonderful plant food that is solely for African Violets and it does wonderful! But then again maybe it would be hard in the classroom. The venus flytraps sound cool too, but I dont know.

  6. Venus Flytraps might be difficult though because we would have to bring for it. like flys and other insects
