Water on the Moon
So NASA discovered water on the moon and they plan to try to set up a permanent residence for Astronauts to live on. I think this is completely ludicrous, what if their drilling affects our lunar activity? So not only do humans think they have the authority to completely destroy Earth, we also want to venture into space and destroy our moon. God, help us.

What are the possible effects on our lunar activity? I mean pollution yes, but actually changing the way the moon works for us? How would we do that? Or is the question that we really don't know what it's going to do so we should just leave it alone. If that is the issue I understand, but I also look backwards to the rest of our progress, technological or otherwise, and realize that if we hadn't "risked" anything we wouldn't have gained anything either.
ReplyDeleteWe have too many problems on earth to spend billions of dollars in space..... But I still support NASA setting up permanent residences on the moon as long as it helps humans in the long run, and as long as what they're doing isn't potentially destructive.
ReplyDeleteThats what im saying, we dont know what could or would happen, I mean the moon is just a tricky thing to be messing around with. Even setting up a residence on the moon, could that affect anything? True we wouldn't have gained anything, but I just wish in our exploration for knowledge, mankind would be more mindful for the the planet we live on. I also support NASA, just not in things so close to home.
