Clever title:) I regret to inform all the Holden haters out there, that you are wrong. I'm so sorry for your loss and I hope that you can learn to love the character of Catcher in the Rye. Honestly, how can you not like him? He's genius, oh and the red hunting cap symbolizes Allie's hair or thats what I think and its his safety blanket.

He's a total repetitive, hypocritical, all talk jerk! That's how I can not like him, lol. Some parts about him are cool, but he is not the antihero I'm looking for (was that a Star Wars joke?).

ReplyDeleteHe isn't a jerk at all though. He has bipolar disorders and post traumatic disorder. I think if anyone had two diseases like that they would be a little on the mean side as well.
